Living with Anxiety and Depression?

Depression is a genuine medicinal sickness that adversely influences how you feel, the manner in which you think and how you act. Discouragement causes sentiments of bitterness, as well as lost enthusiasm for exercises once delighted in. It can affect emotionally and also lead to physical problems.
Being depressed can make you feel helpless. You're not. Along with therapy and sometimes medication, there's a lot one can do on their own to fight against depression. Once you enter this, it becomes harder to come out. Ignorance, discouragement can lead to depression. The victim doesn't share his grievances with anyone, instead keeps it within himself which makes it difficult for him to act normally. It's easier to identify if someone is going through it by their behavioral change and even physical appearance.
It is said, depression in women is more common than depression in men. It is also hereditary.  It can run in families. It generally starts between ages 15 and 30.
Now how do we fight against depression? How do we help depression victims? By the small steps we take, we can help them come out of it. If you know that someone is going through it, inform their closed ones about it before the victim takes a wrong step. Talk to that person and always create positive vibes around him. Make sure that the person is not left alone for a longer time. Medication is one of the methods to treat depression. The treatment goes for six or more months. Anti depression pills are also available.Small changes in life can help in curing depression(or fight against depression) like eating healthy, getting enough sleep, exercising.
There are many sites that raise awareness to cure depression such as studentsagainstdepression.org. This site aims to reach out to those who may not otherwise seek help for their depression. The site offers students and young people to fight against depression.
It's time to take a step towards getting help. Maybe it's your loved one who's been struggling with depression or perhaps you've been thinking about treatment for yourself, and even have a recommendation for a provider from someone you trust but haven't made that call. Why not reach out right now?
